Thunder on the Lakeshore - Airshow

Heather commented on my Kamogawa blog (and rightfully so) that I should be mentioning Thunder on the Lakeshore (previously known as the Manitowoc County Airshow) on the MANTYMAYORBLOG. Here it is!

Sometimes you're just too close to the forest to see the trees. I am the Aviation Resources Board Chairman. We are the group that puts on the airshow since that responsibility departed the Chamber of Commerce.

Taking care of the many issues related to the show from fundraising to recruiting entertainment for both the sky and the special events, I guess I just forgot to use the blog for help.

This year's edition of "Thunder" will again be spectacular and for those adventurous, community-minded volunteers interested in investing your time wisely and with major impact in a short time frame, volunteering for this special event is HUGE. Lots of ineresting jobs are open. If you're interested in being a person that will make "Thunder" happen this year in Manty, please give the Mayor's Office a call at (920)686-6980 or drop an e-mail to kcrawford@manitowoc.org.

The event will need volunteers on June 2-4. If you can't volunteer, please be there!
